Must I still go to work?

Hi I work from 6:15pm to 4:45am, wed to sat, but today I have jury duty from 8am til 5pm(most likely), so I may not have enough rest for work, do I still have to report to work? I did tell HR earlier during lunch about me having jury duty today and all they said is as long as I show them the Court's paper that I did infact have jury, that I should be fine(no PTO or upt taken), just trying to be sure.
