I just got the offer to be one of the guinea pigs to become an XL driver. DPD2 doesn't do XL. I guess the idea is every DSP is going to have a few drivers go through a training program to drive the box trucks that require a CDL(?). Then go through a trial period to see if it's worth running XL in the area.
There is an XL station that's a hour away. They're probably trying to cut down on having their people drive so far out.
They don't know all of the details yet but it definitely comes with a pay increase and a driver helper.
