An Attempt at City Planning
Post Body

I took the screenshot of our local claims and took a try at organizing it into a city layout in MS paint.

The black lines are walls. These will make security much stronger and help enforce the hierarchy we've got going.

I divided the claim into different parts of a city: market, residential, agricultural, and Imperial (government/noble residences). I put the agriculture district on the flattest land. I tried to use the market district to take up the hilliest parts of the claim, so there'd be less trouble for people building houses.

The only possible issue is this setup has divided the residential district into two parts. If this is an issue the market district could be decreased. (If kept, the two residentials could be upper and lower class?) Despite how big it looks, this isn't alot of space. I would suggest at least most of the residential district have a very urban building code. (Roomier residences could be a benefit of the nobility in the imperial district?)

The red and blue lines are me just trying to figure out effective road/railways. Red is for foreigners to get to the the market district and would be enclosed to limit access. Blue is for citizens to use when traveling between different parts of the city. Disregard these for now. We should put a lot of thinking into the actual layout of roads and rails.

Thoughts?
