MOST mornings (we’re talking at least five days a week) my husband and I are rudely awoken at 5AM by the sound of my neighbor getting up for work and getting out the door. His footsteps are so unbelievably loud that sometimes I’ll pound on the wall to absolutely no avail. For a solid fifteen minutes it sounds like he’s running around in circles doing god knows what.

Sometimes we’ll get awoken by his phone alarm first, which he seemingly places on the ground. The vibrations travel through the floor..LOUDLY.

I don’t think he realizes he walks so fckn loud and some mornings I’ll start drafting a text to him to let him know, but my husband insists I don’t because he doesn’t want to start conflict. I don’t want to start conflict either, but I think there’s a nice way to let someone know they’re being a disturbance in your space. This is going on 2 years and I’ve absolutely had enough. AITBF?!
