I (18NB) was hanging out with my girlfriend(18F). We were in the office with some of her coworkers, I don't know these people very well other than names, and they don't know me very well. She would interject in their conversation to say something barely relevant about me or something I said.
Like they were talking about hair and she wanted to show them a tiktok I made that had nothing to do with hair. Or we were talking about a photoshoot we had done recently and she brought up the fact that I wanted to try nutmeg as a drug, which one of her coworkers is best friends with my boss, while he said he wouldn't tell, it's still uncomfortable. Or we were talking about how excited we were to meet the new staff members in the fall and she said, "Well OP wants to fuck all their coworkers." Which first of all, isn't true, I have expressed romantic interest in them, but just lil crushes, second of all, her coworkers don't know were in am open relationship so that statement makes it seem like I'm a cheater or something, third of all that's a wierd thing to learn about someone you barely know.
And like, when I'm with my coworkers we make plenty of sketchy remarks and jokes, but we know each other, and we know what makes others uncomfortable and when to stop. But I don't know her coworkers, and I don't know what type of conversations their comfortable with. I dunno, maybe I'm just overreacting, but it bugged me.
So would I be the buttface for getting upset with her? TLDR: My girlfriend was telling her coworkers weird things I do and it made me uncomfortable
