I (22nb) and my boyfriend (24m) have been together for 6 months and live together

He spent Christmas with his family and I spent it with mine. So we were supposed to do ours the next day but he decided to go out with his friends instead (this is what made it blow up and I brought up that he didn’t get me a present)

On thanksgiving my boyfriend asked me what I wanted for Christmas so I told him a BMO plushie purse or since I’ve never been to buildabear I wanted to make an axolotl plushie. He asked me send him the links because they were online only. I thought that was the end of it

I give him his present before Christmas, a 2 hour tattoo session because he had been talking about wanting a tattoo for months and I have a friend who works in a shop and he likes her art style

So 2 days after Christmas I’m still upset and so I’m not very affectionate and he asks what’s wrong and I point out he didn’t get me a present after asking what I wanted and being told specifically. So he freaked out after realizing he never ordered them and started apologizing.

I just need to know AITA for being upset in the first place? I even told him it didn’t have to be the specific things I wanted but anything would have been nice

EDIT: we did go out and he told me to pick out some shoes and I got some really cute bubblegum pink Doc Martens, they were on sale so he told me to get another pair so I got some yellow Vans and when we got home he told me he ordered the BMO purse (he said it was so the value of my presents would be the same as the one I got him)
