So I have been on tinder and other dating apps/sites. When I actually do get a match with someone. We messaged for a bit. We then move the conversation to other messaging services like snap, insta, or just exchange phone number. We keeping messaging, then one of use suggest we meet up. I have been scam a couple of times, so now I suggest we call or face time at that moment or later before we official meet up.

Then all of a sudden they turn harsh and say I don't trust them. That I am a bad person who doesn't what he will be missing. Or just ghost me and sometimes block me.

So... AITA for wanting to face time or call just to make sure I don't get scam?
