My friend announced that he was having a pool party. He is a shy person that we always encourage to talk to girls. He is a little bit of a late bloomer but has still shown interest in girls in the past. His mom texted me and told me to convince him to invite girls. I texted the group chat he created for this party and asked if everybody was okay with it. Everyone said yes and he did not respond. I then invited the girls and some of them moved vacations so they could come to this party. My friend then said he was not comfortable with it and would not let them come to his party. Am I the asshole?
