AITA for saying I'm sorry I'm closed?

Post Body

So we are clear, I work in a Post office and the number of times people wants you to do something despite being closed is pretty much every time.

I cashed up, I'm ready to leave and a lady comes in saying can I put money on her gas card. I said to her if you have cash, fine I'll do it. She doesn't and starts to yell abuse at me saying I need to go and open up again so I can get cash out for her. I already said I'm not doing it and yet somehow I'm the bad person. She starts throwing stuff off the shelf and films me saying she is getting her friends that have been to prison and will come hunt me down.

Another customer comes in and says I'm being difficult because I'm not willing to help her out. Despite every time I try to speak, I get cut off and no one wants to listen. I didn't give in and I just sat out back giving it fifteen to twenty minutes and until they left.

I didn't appreciate the fact of her filming me, I got abused for it and yet somehow I'm the one being the A hole?

Explain it to me please...
