I started game sharing with my friend over the summer cus i was under the impression he was going to game share back with me. We both go to college so when school started he started using the xbox less. Apparently when you gameshare it also gives the other person your gold membership/gamepass. My friend told me yesterday he no longer pays for gold so i must now be paying for it when i don’t want too. He tried to guilt trip me saying “because you use it more than i do it only makes sense that I shouldn’t have to pay for it and you’re just paying for your gold its not costing you anything extra.” I am not made of money i cannot be paying for other people’s gold espe when they don’t use it as often as i do. AITA for wanting to stop gamesharing/paying for my friend’s xbox gold membership.

Edit: we both paid separately for gold at first. It was when we started game-sharing that he no longer has to pay for his gold and i am paying for mine and his.
