AITA for not wanting to say hi?
Post Body

So I(21F) live with my parents and and younger sister. My sister is too young to really go anywhere and my parents NEVER leave the house (they work from home and don’t know people) and pretty much rotate from the couch to the table from 6am-1am. So basically I never don’t see them. The issue is that they constantly want me to say hi or hello. Like the second I walk out of my room in the morning I have to say hi because my door basically opens to the living room (saying hi in the morning I gett) but then if I go to the market for 20 mins I have to say hello when I come back like I didn’t just see them 20 mins ago. Or if my dad is in the garage and I go in there, we both have to stop what we’re doing to greet each other. It might seem insignificant, but I’ve gotten so tired of it since it’s not like we’re all busy and never see each other. So recently I stopped saying hello every single time and they got super pissed and started saying i’m an AH for not saying hello and greeting them. But I just feel like it’s excessive and weird considering we don’t go more than a couple of hours without seeing one another. AITA?
