AITA If I Don’t Let A Friend Borrow A Jacket Because I Haven’t Worn It Yet

Post Body

Pretty much what the title says. Just recently started at a new uni and have a close buddy that I met when I got here. We share clothes and shoes once in a while.

When he comes over and we go on walks at night, sometimes he borrows a jacket. He’s been borrowing the same one for a couple of days which I don’t mind because he just uses it for our walk and then takes it off.

Tonight he wanted to leave my room with the jacket. Normally I’d have no issue letting him borrow it except for the fact that our friend group hasn’t seen that particular jacket of mine yet. It is a staple of my look and I would like to be the first to wear it in our friend group. After that I have no problem lending it to him, I’ll even borrow one of his.

AITA because I said no tonight so I could wear it first?
