AITA for being upset about doing my job.

Post Body

As a preface I work for a small but fairly successful chemical manufacturing facility as a maintenance 1 (there are 3 levels, 1 being the lowest) and have a associates degree in welding.

When i first got into the maintenance position i was paired up with an older man to help teach me about maintenance since i was new to it or considered green. He taught me a lot and we did the stuff you would think a maintenance man would do; fix things, build things, and demo old outdated equipment. Well the man i was paired with retired two months ago, so now i work by myself.

The part that is making me upset is the fact that all i have done since he retired has been landscaping/yardwork by myself. For example i have had to prune at least 12 trees, cut down 15 trees, cut the grass on a hill that was at least 150 yards long and 50 yards deep with a 40° incline with a bushwacker (really big weedeater with metal blades insted of plastic cord). I am done/doing all of this with no help and i fell like im not being valued and that im guna be stuck just doing that for the rest of the time i work with this company.

Am i the asshole for being upset that i have to do my job.
