Ok so I know this sounds like a major YTA but let me explain. I have always been a super honest and liberal person. I do tend to overshare a bit. Me and my ex have a very good friendly relationship, and he lives abroad. Overtime we developed the habit of telling each other about our hookups, giving each other dating advice and things like that.

I recently have started a BDSM relationship (not 24/7 BDSM but the sex is pretty intense) and we are now also in an open relationship so not exclusive. I just told him that I shared some of the stuff that we did in bed with my ex and my current bf said that was super disrespectful and that I should have asked if it was ok with him. On the one hand I get it but on the other hand I don't know, I feel like I didn't explain everything, I just said what we did without much detail and it's something i've always done with my friends. Especially since all of this bdsm is new to me.
