AITA For ending a couple of friendships because they were being satirically racist in a group chat?

They started talking about how they hated Mexicans because of this one Mexican kid at our school. It was really bothering me and I told them to stop. they ended up saying “Calm down you damn SJW. It’s a fucking joke!” I told them I’m going to block them and I told a mutual friend about all of this as well. Am I being too harsh or is me blocking them justified?
