AITA for creating rules for my house and pushing my family away

Hello fellow assholes of the internet. I am extremely new to this subreddit, but I do have something extremely new that happened last night. This is something that has built up for the last few weeks and I'm not sure how to feel about it. As being a recently new home owner I have set some ground rules for guests if they plan on coming over, because of respect for my family and my schedule. We just got a new puppy and have 6 year old that is in split custody with my GF and her ex husband.

My brother from the AF was visiting for 2 weeks and wanted to stay at my house during his visit which is completely fine. When I confronted on what days he would be staying here because I know he would like to visit the rest of the family. However, none of this was communicated to me on what days he would be over. This frustrated my mother. My mother and my GF haven't had a good running because my mother doesn't like how we run our house.

My mother expects me to always have my doors open no matter what even if we aren't home which is not the case. We have made it clear that we would like to know when my brother would be over.

Last night my brother from the AF, my younger brother came to my house at 10PM thinking that they could come in, when it was way past the 6 year olds bedtime. My mother threw stuff that she brought for my sugar gliders in the house aggressively and said I have been ridiculous about all of this. My brother grabbed his stuff from my house and I haven't heard a peep since.

Edit: So my mom messaged me on my brothers account calling my GF a controlling wench just because I am making the decisions of the house. As a couple we are trying to have a household that works together.
