AITA for asking my friend's sister if she was mad at me?

Post Body

My friend had her phone taken away as a punishment for bad grades. When I snapchatted her and she didn't respond, I asked her sister what was up and she explained what happened. Today, I noticed my friend had removed me as her friend and I texted her sister again asking if I had done something wrong to her. Her sister snapped on me and cussed me out, and complained that this was the second time I'd asked about it. AITA here?
