I want to start this off by saying i appreciate my husband and I know he works hard and deserves time to relax. Anyways, my husband works nights and I am a sahm to my children from a previous relationship he also has every other weekend off. Because of this we are on opposite schedules and I go to bed around 11 and asleep by 11:30. We spend a little bit of time cuddling in bed until he falls asleep for about an hour or two and then we see each other when he is getting ready for work. So the problem is that when he's off Friday he dedicated that evening to playing with his friends then Saturday he leaves for his friends to play dnd... this is twice a month. But every time he is off as soon as the kids lay down he is on his computer gaming and asking his friend to game from around 7/8 to 10 or whenever his friend goes to bed. After he gets off the game he sits and continues playing. I ask him to spend time with me but he says he already did or that I get twice a month or I've had more time with you then I do with my friend. This has been going on for a year. I can't make plans because his friends come first. We haven't had a date night in a month and we have only gone out twice on a date in two years but as soon as he got home he wanted to play with his friends. After me having a fit he finally gave me friday nights for us time. He told me end of February he will be dead to me and I asked him what else is new. I asked him tonight if he can limit his game time with friends until the end of February. And he got offended and said what I can't play with my friends? I'm like im right here play with me invite me to do things with you. Am I the asshole? I understand he deserves time to himself but I have been begging him to spend time with me.
