AITA I asked my friend to return my Jacket
Post Body

About a year ago, I made a Christmas dinner at my house and I invited some friends over, it was really cold that night and a friend asked me if he could borrow one of my jackets, basically we got a little tipsy and when he left I forgot to ask for it, so the next day I texted him saying when we could meet up again so he could return it. Life got in the way and we were not able to meet up for a while, months, I invited him over again so we could catch up, and of course, he could return my jacket. Basically he got really mad when I mentioned this detail saying he didn’t need to visit me so he could return it. Even more time passed and I still didn’t have my jacket, so I asked him I he could leave it at my other friends house who he visits frequently, and he reluctantly agreed to do it. Basically, after that he blocked me from instagram, and for a while I couldn’t even Text him privately which is weird because we have a lot of friends in common. After the fact I realized that he planned on keeping it, and honestly in hindsight I should’ve never asked if he could return it. Nowadays I’m not blocked anymore but our friendship isn’t the same at all, we don’t even hang out together anymore, I’m asking this cuz todays the anniversary of that whole event and I can’t stop thinking about it, so was I wrong?
