AITA for telling my co-worker I don't want to play games with him ever again?

Post Body

About a year and a half ago, I (29) and my coworker (21) and a few others started a new battle royal game called Naraka: Bladepoint. It's an awesome game and definitely one of my favorites. I have 2 coworkers who still play it regularly and they are significantly better than I am. One of them is awesome to play with and super chill, the other takes the game way too seriously and is an absolute asshole to me when we play because I'm "not on his level".

About 2 weeks ago we played a duo match together and he hit me with the straw that broke the camels back. I told him I wanted better loot so I was going over here to look, he ignored me and went off and did his own thing. He ended up getting in a fight with other players and essentially had to 2v1. I asked him why he didn't wait when I told him I needed better gear before we fought anyone and he said "when we play together, I play like you aren't even here" I asked him why he would say that and he said he just doesn't expect me to do anything since I'm not on his level.

I immediately logged off mid-match and didn't speak to him for a few days. A few days ago he asked when I was gonna be on next cuz he wanted to run some games and I told him that I didn't want to play with him again. He acted confused and asked why. I repeated back what he said to me during the match and said "you make the game so un-fun to play. I love the game so I don't want to stop playing it, I just want to stop playing with you".

He is a super toxic guy and a textbook narcissist, and sociopath. Other coworkers told me that when I wasn't around the rest of the day he wouldn't stop talking about what I said, saying things like "I'm overreacting" "I need to get over it" and the like. I'm just so done with this guy.
