I’ve been with my bf for 6 years. 2 years ago his older sister asked me to work at the doctors office she has been working at for approximately 8-9 years. I left in may. I have never had any problems with this doctor, personally, but she has told me multiple times he treats her bad. The sister is pretty private and in the six years of knowing her we have only hung out once (outside of family functions of course). Recently the doctor she works for asked if I would be willing to babysit so his fiancé can have some free time- I said yes. The next day I sent my bfs sister a text to let her know I babysat and will be again next week and she responds with “I’m not sure how to respond. He puts me through hell”. From what I know he has yelled at her multiple times and has put his fiancé in charge of things at the office that my bfs sister use to do. Am I the asshole for not hating him just bc she hates him? We are adults, I’m 34, she’s 40, and he’s like 38.
