AITA for wanting my pregnant wife to eat more healthy

Post Body

I was just wondering if I would be an asshole for wanting my wife to eat more healthy being pregnant and all. Just absolute crap diet (candy, pizza and pasta) and not a single veggie or fruit.

She of course talks about being nauseous from certain foods and I guess she is not taking me very seriously.

I'm just thinking about that poor baby. I mean how about an apple here and there, a banana or strawberries maybe.

Should I maybe just calm my shit and let her make that beautiful specimen in peace?

What are your thoughts on this?

Edit: I will give this woman what ever she wants. Thank you everyone.

> It's not putting pregnant people on a pedestal to think they should be allowed to eat as they please as long as they aren't hurting themselves

Right, and if they really want a burger at 5am, then they can go get one themselves.

So pregnant ppl should be put on a pedestal and given everything they want whenever they want and allowed to act however they want just cause they're pregnant? Fuck that noise.

A. Why should OP be the one to go out and get it at 5a? Most of the time, they are still capable of walking to a car and driving to the place that has their craving item.

B. Cravings are a want, not a need.
