My birthday is today but celebrated over the weekend. I posted a few pictures of myself in my cute dress for my birthday on Friday. One of the comments said “Old!” For reference I turned 33 today but look a bit younger than my age. Anyways, the person who commented that is more of an acquaintance when I lived in a different state 5 years ago. He continuously comments weird things on my posts and DM’s me very weird stuff as well and I mostly ignore but on occasion I would let him know to not DM me certain things or videos, etc. I honestly don’t know why he engages so much with my instagram as he’s also inappropriate sometimes though he’s married and I have a boyfriend.

I decided to remove his comment and I DM’ed him that I removed it because I didn’t appreciate being called “old”. He said he was just joking and he’ll just unfriend me because that’s uncool of me, basically. I said that I don’t think it’s a funny joke and he said he jokes like that with all of his friends, both male and female. I just said that we have different humor and I wouldn’t comment that to anyone else and wouldn’t want the same commented to me. He then unfriended me, and then I unfollowed him.

AITA for removing the comment and telling him why? Maybe it wasn’t necessary but at that point I was done with his comments and DMs and I’m relieved we don’t follow each other anymore as he was always so weird, inappropriate and creepy towards me on instagram.
