AITA for pushing my s/o to be more independent
Post Body

I'll start with this, we have been together sometime now and both lost our job around here same time. I got back on my feet but she has struggled to. I work a full time job, part time job and do UberEATS to pay the bills. She does nothing currently and just does things around the house. She claims that she was very independent before we got together but has become more reliant on me. Which I don't mind, I've struggled before. We needed to get groceries and I told her upfront that she would be in charge of making a list and finding out what we need and just overall commandeering this adventure, as she has not had a job in a while and it's important to stay on top of the basic things. We get to the store and get situated. I told her again that she was in charge as she's the one at home cooking and what not so she should be keeping up with what we need. "No I don't keep up with anything" she tells me. She is everywhere, can't stay focused on task and we get 3 items deep into our grocery run before she just starts grabbing things not on our list. I asked her if these were "impulse buys" or something else.. just a simple yes or no question. She very quickly gets frustrated and starts a scene over a yes or no question. Then storms off. Am I the a hole?
