People involved. My boyfriend BF his mom Bfm a shitty office manager OF and his wife who works there and co owns it Ofw. Bfm is a drama queen, but bf and I do our best to stay out of her drama and we got along well. Bfm needed help at work. I agreed everything was going fine. That's when OF enters. He was gushing about what a great job I was doing and offered me a job. I accepted.

OF was awful. Bad at his job and a jerk. He was hardly in the office so I kept my head and my mouth shut because I liked everything else about the job.

I noticed things about the business that seemed off. I knew I couldn't ask OF for clarification in case I was overreacting so I did some digging. My concern grew. I talked to a friend in the field trying not disclose any private information. She confirmed it was shady to keep quiet and look for a new job. So that's what I did.

Stupidly I told Bfm. A week later. OF and BFM! Interviewed someone for my position while I was at the office. I knew what was about to happen. My immediate termination email arrived shortly after. I kept my composure as best I could and provided a way to contact me if needed.

I told Bfm I was hurt and felt betrayed for that reason I wanted nothing to do with her or that matter anymore then blocked her and OF on my phone.

Obviously I came home upset. I told bf everything. His mom began blow up his phone. Saying I was unprofessional. I broke privacy laws. She needs to explain. Blah blah.

OFW who I forgot to block calls me I declined. Then immediately texts "I need to get my head out of my ass and apologize to Bfm". Bf is not speaking to his mom nor is his brother who now knows everything. AITAH?
