Warning, very long but very worth reading. I posted this in a subreddit for conspiracy theories, and I didn't get much, however enough to wanna remake this in a more appropriate subreddit. I will try to reply to every comment I can however life gets busy, it may take awhile.

Alright, first of all, if you don't know Jimmy's videos at bright insight I highly suggest watching all of them. Alot of inspiration keeps coming from him.

So I believe there was an ancient society that was extremely advanced, maybe as advanced, if not more advanced then we are today. However many factors, have nearly entirely erased all evidence of it. Things such as water erosion, burying, human factors, and much more. Time does alot more then people want to give it credit for. Entropy has one goal it always works for.

Now what backing do I have to this? Well Egypt's pyramids are one of my prime candidates, however theres evidence of it apparently all over the Sahara being found more recently. Look it up, I'm sure you haven't heard of it. But apparently they have been finding castles, cities, and all kinds of evidence of extremely advanced societies, that existed thousands and thousands of years before most historians have history of. There are fricking carved into mountain gorgeous buildings, that really have no explanation as to how they were made or by who or why. Exactly same stylizations thousands of miles from each other. The one I am starting to lean more too and want to learn more from, the Hindu religion is packed with insane things and ideas that are often not even wanted to be known. Ever heard of vimana? Mahabharata? Neither did I till I was exploring this more and more. Apparently with vimana, THERES ANCIENT TEXTS DETAILING THERE MAKING USE AND MORE. Sorry but this is fricking amazing to me and mind blowing. Especially it's not known. Lemme explain a bit, vimana are basically spaceships made of gold silver and other things that were capable of carrying basically nukes that they used to fight with. Wait wait, what?

Now I know what you wanna say, ALIENS. If not good for you, I'm sorry the Fermi paradox is too much to ignore. Space and time is way more then a person with maybe a century has too truly comprehend. I think we don't give the ancient human species enough credit. I think we were in a society as crazy and spread as our own world. With technology to rival our own. If we are visited by aliens and they torment a few people and make them crazy with it all, I believe we are visited by cousins of a sort. I think we have gone to the stars before, and because of time and space, changed into something that doesn't seem human anymore, even monstrous, or grey. It takes care of alot of issues with the Fermi paradox, mostly the how to find earth part. Who better would know how to get home then the people who owned the home? This in turn saved them from whatever great filter it was that did wipe out this society. I will admit, this is the most far fetch part of my theory, however it makes sense in so many ways as well.

We need to stop thinking the ancients were less intelligent, less capable, had less means then we did, because I truly feel we are just limiting our own finding and truth that way. For instance, did you know they've been finding evidence the Sphinx is twice the age they originally thought, making it a mystery to even the Egyptians who we once thought made it. Science is finding so much that is showing in my mind, a huge society on a global scale that had unimaginable possibility. In fact I believe the ancient Hindu gods and even the Egyptians, heck who knows how far it goes, were once beings of high renown and power in this time of the great civilization.

Call me crazy if you want, however if you really look you can find an astounding amount of evidence that leads towards where I am getting at, again check out bright insight on YouTube, you may get an insight into what I'm talking about.
