Did you all know that BCH now has UTXO DeFi going on? We're upgrading Bitcoin scripting language so it can do cool stuff, and we'll be getting native tokens in '23. In '22 we got introspection opcodes which enabled us to get started with DeFi, this is the product (public beta): https://bchbull.com/

How it works? Parties A and B make a bet on-chain, they fund the contract with their collaterals. There's an oracle service that publishes signed price messages, and once settlement time comes (or price move triggers liquidation) the contract pays out winnings to A (or B) from B's (or A's) collateral and returns whatever remains to B (or A). That's it.

The magic is in it being NON CUSTODIAL, and each bet is fully funded by the 2 parties who enter the bet, so there is NO COUNTERPARTY RISK, the only risk is in the oracle (but parties have a recovery method of signing 2-of-2 and agree to recover the funds even if oracle goes down) some slippage risk if liquidation triggers and settles the contract early.
