Post Body

A few times now, we've seen contestants essentially quit because they're, "bored."

They get ahead of the game—They kill a Moose, or get a bunch of fish or rabbits, and they get into the mentality of, "Now I'm just waiting. Killing time. Being bored."

This, maybe above everything else, always ticks me off to see. "I'm tapping out because I'm too successful, and I'm bored. I miss my home life."

None of these people have understood what it means to "zero the clock," and start playing again like they're playing from a disadvantage. They lose their ambition. They fail to find motivation to keep going. You NEED to be able to do that, if you want to win.

You need go realize that your food isn't going to last forever. Your supply WILL run out. Or your shelter WILL have flaws. You can ALWAYS do more to improve your shelter, or your camp, or your stockpile. Learn to keep yourself busy. Learn to work with a chip on your shoulder. Learn to zero the clock and remind yourself, "100 Days is a long time for things to go wrong."
