Experience with temporaries has me wondering if I should get finals elsewhere
Post Body

My surgery went well and everything has gone great, except my experience with the temporaries. I am on my fourth temporary upper and original lower. They look great, but the uppers break almost immediately after leaving the office. Like literally 30 minutes later. They did not charge me for replacing that one, but all the others have broken within a couple days and they charge $450 to make another. They haven’t tried to repair them, but I have and it was successful, until the other side of the upper broke and I had to go in for a new one.
The reason I don’t have finals yet is because I am still making payments, and I am down to making the final payment. I do not want to go through this with the finals as well. To me, it seems as the problem is with the uppers not fitting correctly. Not a problem with material type, or me grinding my teeth as they have suggested. The lowers are still the same ones and I have had zero issues with them. They haven’t even loosened. Only the uppers. Each time, after a new upper is placed, it is adjusted until I and the prosthodontist are both happy with it, and they capture the bite with a 3D scan. The feels great, but they break, even when eating even moderately soft foods like pizza. For my finals, I was going with the nano-ceramic option. Although I have been happy with everything else, I feel like getting the temporary uppers right has been a complete failure on the labs part and I wonder if I should shop around and have my finals made elsewhere. Any advice would be much appreciated!
