Title says it all.
I've been writing a food diary, whittling my potential triggers down for the past 2 months. Now I've gone on to eliminating Corn. Haven't eaten it in 2 weeks and had no symptom improvement, or so I thought, but see a few things I've eaten had Maize in them.
Would Maize cause issue to a Corn allergy sufferer? It's confusing as it's not highlighted on the pack as an allergen, but I see it's made from it.
But why use two different terms? Why the inconsistency? Seems unnecessarily complex to me
Thank you. This all makes sense now. Ah feels good to identify it after months of trial!

I should also be more specific, Maize flour, modified Maize starch - but assuming they're still the same.
That's incredibly frustrating. Why isn't that in bold on a package of allergens. Also relieving as I think I've found my culprit!
