I've had allergic conjunctivitis for about 4 years now, my doctor diagnosed it and I've been taking eye drops Emadine and Flarex. My eye drops definitely give me some relief for hours but my eyes have been about the same in the long term, even if it's light, I always have some irritation in my eyes. Sometimes it's light and sometimes it's more.
My eyes seem to hurt a lot especially after I sleep. My doctor had told me that there was no way of knowing what I'm allergic to but I feel that I can receive more help.
How could I diagnose what the issue is?
Some info about my room, it receives a lot of light and I go to sleep late at night so maybe my eyes don't get enough dark sleep time? That wouldn't trigger it would it?
My bed and pillow sheets are clean but my bed hasn't been cleaned in years.
Can't think of anything else that could be important, open to any suggestions, I know absolutely nothing about allergies.
Thanks.
