So I went to the allergist to check If I was intolerant to food and pollen. Although most of the spots on my hand were swollen, the allergist said I was allergic to dust (which I knew), pollen & cats (Ihv had cats for 4 years with zero issues and this one still surprises me)

Anyways, 3 days later I develop this rash and sever itching all over my face, hands, then little bumps, dry skin, roughness etc. this itching is severe during night.

The allergists gave me prednisolone incase I needed and I had prednisolone and every was fine. Im out of preds now 5 days later and the itching came back. Just got zyrtac for now and although it looks fine, I cannot tell until its night coz thats when I wake up every few hours with itch.

What went wrong here? Did I get something injected in my body thats causing this to happen? Ihv never had skin allergies. How long this itching is going to be there?
