hey diamond zerg here trying out terran. As zerg I play reactively, I macro really hard and wait until something happens which will dictate what I do next, whether it be a scout, a fight, etc etc. (play safe/macro/attack). Unless i'm all-inning/busting ofc.
But my question with Terran: If I'm following a strict build order, when do I know when to move out or put on pressure? I've begun to play really passive, and just sit back and macro, which a masters friend of mine said is extremely bad as Terran (he doesn't play Terran or else I'd ask him). I've been using Innovation's 3CC Hellion build, and aside from the hellions I don't really do anything. The BO doesn't really say "Hit at X:XX," (Like Heart's stim/c shield timing which I use vs. Protoss)
it just says "By X:XX you should have.. etc 50 SCV's etc 6 hellions etc 4 marines etc." I never know when my army is strong, so I just sit around.
