Importing to the US Custom duty question
Post Body

Hello.

I'm in need of some help. I'm not in the US but I import from AliExpress to the US and then I use another company to send the goods to my country (It's faster this way for me because of the epacket option is not available for my country and my postal service is notorious for stealing goods).

Anyway I buy and resell watches in my country, never placed an order over $50 since I buy from multiple sellers. However this time I decided to take advantage of 11.11 and bought about $320 worth of smartbands from a seller (15 units).

Will I need to pay custom duties in the US?? I've been searching this subredit and online and find that they mention a the threshold in value for importing into the USA for wich you don't pay custom duties but the number varies, I've read anything over $200, anything over $800, and even anything over $2,500.

I'm not sure where to look for the correct info since I'm not in the US and I'm still able to cancel the order since it's not been shipped.

Thanks in advance for any info.
