Post Body

I had an item lost in the mail. It made it to the US, never made it through the postal service system. It was lost at my local post office (small town). Final scan was never completed & it was never delivered. Opened a dispute and lost, AE judgement was invalid - that the package is at my local post office waiting for pickup (which it's not). I went on Eva bot and was told I need to provide proof that the post office lost it, by the AE rep.

In the past, lost packages were no big deal. Only annoying because you had to wait for buyer's protection to run out to get a refund/re-order. Now it seems AE has changed course. It was only a $10 item, so I am not out substantial money, but it still bothers me, especially as a long time AE user that has had tons of orders in the past. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Update: I went to Eva bot again and they had me "appeal" the AE dispute judgement... I have never had to do this before. Is this something new?
