Alienware 17 R5 Battery and power Cord Issues

Anyone here have any experience with the battery always seem like its charging even when its plugged up and even showing as its not plugged in for a few seconds? Â I have been having this issue on and off for the past month or so and i cant seem to figure it out. Its a sporadic and sudden thing when it decides to act up.
