A few weeks ago, I ordered a 330w SFF adapter from Dell's website. It said it'd ship in 2 days (estimated of course). Suddenly, a week later, it's saying it'll ship in 4 more days. Then, another week goes by, and it's saying it'll ship in a week. So I contact support to ask about what's going on here, and they have no explanation but assure me they'll have someone "contact me" to figure out what's going on and when I'll get my order. Haven't heard anything in several days, so I go to check my email to be sure - nothing. Check the order on Dell's website... Cancelled? No notice or anything. Just cancelled.
Seems like piss-poor communication on their part, and poor customer support when there is a delay or issue. I still have no clue why it was cancelled or if I can place a new order and actually get it or what. I'm fairly certain I won't be able to get it at the same price I ordered it for originally, and am fairly annoyed they'd just cancel an order with no notification or explanation. Dell seems to have a LOT of these janky interactions and I'm getting pretty sick of it. Anyone else run into this sorta thing recently?
