As an English speaker who has only watched the Netflix adaptation, I was wondering which of the names of the main characters have significance? Also, I was wondering if the character names are “real” or “common” names, or if they sound strange to a native speaker.
Here are a few that I caught:
Arisu = Alice
Usagi = Rabbit
Hatter = Hatter
A few other possibilities:
Aguni = Agony
Chishiya = Cheshire
Kuina = Queen
Karube = Club
Heiya: Hare
Tatta = Turtle
Yaba = Jabberwocky
Banda = Bandersnatch
