Disable rear seatbelt chime?

Okay, it’s not as bad as it sounds. I have a dog that sits in the back seats of my Giulietta, and he sets off the seatbelts. I don’t want to have to click the belts in, as he won’t be able to sit properly and safely, but the chiming is really annoying. Is there any way to disable them?

They never did do this up until this month when I got it MOT’d. They’d only chime if people were sitting there and hadn’t yet put their belts on, not my dog. I wonder why it’s only now happening with my dog.

Is there an easy way to turn this off, or is it disconnecting wires?

The car is a 2011 Giulietta Veloce
