Post Body

I'm still creating content, y'all. But the reading group at r/areadingofmontecristo isn't at the point of being able to digest Sequels yet, so this sub gets first dibs on my latest Monte Cristo Book Reviews.

In the post-Count of Monte Cristo world, "Lord Hope" and Haydee now live in California, where Hope is mining yet more gold and making another fortune. He wants to improve the world, and sees 4 sets of young(er) people with great potential and takes it upon himself to test them to mold them for his purposes. There's Don Lotario and Therese; Amelie de Morcerf(!) and Wolfram; Albert Herrera and Judith; and his fave punching bags- Maximilian Morrel and Valentine.

Lord Hope's plans for them start to spiral out of control, and a wild card named Benedetto returns and stirs up chaos and misery.
