What to look for: - Generic location, bad sentence structure, strange gaps in punctuation, childlike use of emojis; for example: “[F/20] Hookup (upstate )text me , let get nasty 🍆💦” - Account less then 10 days old, 1 day old, 1 hour old. - Post history in multiple states/countries within the hour. - Diverts you to secondary app (Snapchat, facetime, etc). - Asks you to pay up front (could be hotel, gas, deposits for safety, etc). - Gift Card Scam.

What to do before you simp a scammer: - Before simping, check their post history look for posts in multiple locations throughout the country. - Reverse search their pictures. It’s very common that scammers will use real porn stars photos (apps like Reversee do well). - Ask them to verify by sending a photo of them touching their eyebrow, chin, nose or ear. If they are real this shouldn’t be an issue. - You will never be expected to pay upfront with a pro. It’s always a scam if they request this.
