Hey folks, I'm staying in New Lebanon with my gf until Monday, so far its been a pretty relaxed stay, but it's been a little underwhelming (our fault for randomly picking a place so far out from NYC itself), what are some things we could do around the area or that we should definitely see or go check out? We usually go hiking, but it feels like this time of year, all we'd be seeing is dead trees, more dead trees and.... Oh, more dead trees, maybe if it snowed, but that's unlikely it seems.
We've already been to downtown Albany and downtown Pittsfield across state lines. Again, both were a little underwhelming in terms of places to check out, except the museums which were cool and the architecture.
Romantic places, landmarks, shops, places to eat. Those are all stuff we're interested in, although feel free to give anything else a shout out, if it sounds interesting, we'll consider it.
