Need help understanding buses & HVCC

Hey all—please take it easy on me. I’m moving to the area for a job at St Pete’s and I’m bringing my son. He’s 18 and autistic and will be attend classes at HVCC. I’m trying to find an apartment where bus access will be easy/reasonable ride (half hour or less, no transfers) but I’m so unfamiliar with the area that I’m struggling to figure it out. I think I’ve figured out we need to live along the 85 bus route…? I don’t know; I’m a country gal. Help
