First time getting an offer to First class. Should I do it?

On a flight this week from SAN to JFK. I’m in main cabin with no MVP status. The offer is $380. 1 out of 8 seats in first class seats are empty. Is this a fair price? Should I wait out a lower offer? Never sat in first class and am considering it as it’s a red eye. Thanks.
