Looking at the Tim Breaker DLC story, the not-Jesse Faden tells Tim about how things can be the same but vastly different across multiple dimensions. One of the panels that shows this is Alan, Scratch, and Zane.
1.) This potentially means that Zane and Scratch are Alans from different realities.
2.) This sparked an idea in my head, that being the main point of this post, which is that what Alan writes into reality comes from different universes and he makes his reality change in order to be like other universes where what he needs exists.
Imagine two universes exist. One where Alan has a piano and one where Alan does not. Piano-less Alan wants a piano and thus writes the piano into his reality. But to do this, he writes things in such a way to where his reality lines up to be like the universe where he already has a piano to a certain point, thus giving him the instrument in his universe. This could potentially be the explanation of why Alan does, to an extent, has follow "rules." Him making things "true to the story" might actually be him making things "true to a reality where what I need exists."
What do you guys/gals think?
