Listen, I'm a 42 year old man and I'm not really a horror kinda guy. I don't do well with gore, and jump scares freak me fuck out. I cannot handle your Resident Evils and your Silent Hills and your so ons and so forths. I get way too scared and gotta give up.

But Max Payne was huge for me back in the day. And I dug the hell out of Control.

I can handle the weird, and the unnerving, that stuff is my jam. I'm not totally adverse to horror, but I'm selective. I think The Thing is a masterpiece and it's probably a top 10 movie for me. But I'm a lot better when the horror is trying to scare the characters and not trying to scare me.

But man, I wanna give Remedy a good chance, because when they're hitting there's really nothing like them. Can I handle these Alans Wake?
