During The Watchers the mother (probably 30s) and son (probably 11-13) duo to my left and the father (probably 60s) and son (probably 30s) duo to my right were talking and texting the whole film. I ordered a water and flagged on my card that I was surrounded by talkers and texters. When the server got the card and read it, she looked at both parties and saw them texting. Nothing ever happened though. They continued, and their behavior actually got worse after I reported it. I put up another card, and no one ever came by to get it. This was at Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Brooklyn at the 3:30 p.m. showing on Wednesday, June 19. Why do they even bother saying the theater is a quiet zone and to report offenders if nothing is going to happen?
