My Q has been sober for almost a year and half. During this time we’ve been in couples therapy once a week every month for 1.5 years. The cost is extremely expensive ($300.00 per session out if pocket) and I find myself building resentments towards it. I’ve tried to bring up my concerns about the continued cost and it’s “this is life or death for me”. I got really angry and told my Q that if we can’t make it one week without missing therapy then we have bigger issues. I love the therapist and she’s helped get my Q sober in addition to AA. Am I wrong for having resentments like this?
