Akubra's Plans

I was recently in a shop in Canberra and they told me that they need to send all their stock back to akubra at the end of the year and they can't advertise online for certain prices etc etc ... Has anyone heard similar? What does it all mean?
They are a very labour intensive hat and apparently the struggle to find staff in Kempsey ... Could it all he coming to an end?
