Low volume when using zoom and teams on work laptop

Hey! Question is just what it says above. I got the second gen from Costco for Christmas. When I got to work and tried to use them, the volume on zoom and teams is very very low — almost inaudible. Has anyone else dealt with this and have a fix?

I did go into the zoom and teams setting and the volume on the apps and the computer is all the way up, but the sound output is still super quiet. I have Apple care but not sure if they can help since it is an issue with a windows pc. Open to suggestions and thoughts!
